There are many locations in Lemmon that are ideal for family photos. I’m always looking for for good lighting, clean backgrounds and (preferably) greenery.
In one hour, we can stop at two to four locations in town. Personally, I think three locations is the a good number of spots.
Live at Lake is one of my favorite events put on by the Placemakers Co-Op. It’s free, live music at Shadehill Lake every Saturday of the month of August from 6-8 PM. The music, provided by local artists, setting sun, and community make for an unforgettable evening.

She and Jasmin Fosheim created the event to bring women together from the communities of Lemmon and Hettinger. It was sponsored by the Lemmon Area Charitable and Economic Development Corp (LACED), Lemmon Chamber, Hettinger Chamber and Adams County Economic Development (ACDC). Harlan Hess played the role of Santa Clause, giving every child a candy cane and listened to their Christmas present requests. It was difficult to hear from my spot, but I heard kids that wanted LEGOs, slime, a phone, all sorts of things.
