Incredible photography is developed by combining advanced technical skills with cultivated creative talent.
Hello! Please, let me introduce myself. I’m Brittany Schnell. I was born and raised in Mitchell, SD. I fell in love with photography my senior year of high school and knew it was what I was made to do. This is my fifth wedding season as a pro. I attended both Dakota Wesleyan University and Mitchell Technical Institute graduating in 2016. At MTI I studied Business Management and at DWU I took photography classes. At MTI, I met my husband, Carson who graduated with an Agricultural technology degree.
Today we live on the Schnell Family Ranch north of Lemmon, SD. Carson and Carter (my father-in-law) raise Black Angus beef. I help with a few things such as feeding in the winter, haying, and branding. Occasionally I will have a bottle calf. We have nine cats, one dog and no children. I’m very involved in the community and part of the Placemakers Co-Op in Lemmon, SD.
I am an avid gardener, aerial artist/yogi, and oil/watercolor painter. I like to think of myself as a working artist since I create art at each wedding/session. My photographic approach is a cross between photojournalism and fine art. I LOVE telling a story stunning imagery.
