the ‘Brittany’ part of Brittanyography! My handsome cowboy Carson and I live together with our baby girl on the Schnell Ranch in North Dakota- surrounded by a sea of grass and open skies of endless beauty. I have a passion for animals, exploration, and photo + film.
Photography and filmmaking have allowed me to travel all around the country and has brought many amazing souls across my path. I’ve been able to meet new people on a regular basis while cultivating some of life’s greatest adventures and stories.
My art is a collection of all the experiences that have brought pure magic and joy to my life. When I’m not adventuring with clients; I’m mothering my newborn, running through the prairie with my horse, painting the cedar river with my best friend, or gaming with my husband. I’m constantly translating my inspiration into my creative outlets.

I’m a South Dakota native who grew up in a large family. My husband and I married in 2017 and made the Schnell Ranch our home. The ranch, located north of Lemmon, South Dakota is our little slice of heaven- with open skies, a sea of grass, Black Angus beef, a Blue Heeler, half a dozen cats, trio of horses and a full coop of chickens. Some of my favorite days are spent working in my garden under the hot, North Dakota sun.
My desire is to build lasting relationships with people. I light up when I get to see couples/families in their element. Weddings and Portraits are my passion. I believe weddings are a celebration- not a photoshoot. I work quickly for my couples to enjoy their wedding day with their friends and family. I believe taking photos should be short and fun! I promise to make you feel beautiful, confident and like royalty every step of the way.
My home may be in North Dakota, but I also travel to Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska. Some of my favorite places to photograph are the Black Hills, Bismarck/Mandan, Medora, and the Mitchell & Sioux Falls area. When I’m not behind my camera I can be found in the shade of the nearest tree working on my latest art project. I’m always dreaming up new things to create. By now I’m pretty much running on caffeine! I’d love to meet up with you for a cup of coffee.

I’ve been shooting with Brittany since 2016. From day one I was hooked on photography. Although it’s not my chosen main career, I enjoy taking photos and I’m so happy Brittany does all the editing!
I am a Property Manager and Real Estate Investor on the weekdays and a wedding & portrait photographer on the weekends. When I’m not working, you can find me at home with my husband, Trent and our little boy Thomas. We are expecting one more addition spring, 2024. We live on a small acreage with a lush garden, several goats, a few dogs, a cat and several different birds- ducks, geese and chickens.
My photo styles are traditional, photodocumentary and candid. enjoy documenting love stories the most- engagements, weddings, couples and their families. Photography has taken me all over the place, where will we go next?

I’ve been shooting with Brittany since 2022. I love weddings, families and events. My style is photojournalistic and whimsical & I LOVE shooting with natural light.
On the weekdays I’m a massage therapist and on the weekends I’m a family and wedding photographer! When I’m not working, you can find me at the dog park with my Belgian Malinois or hanging out with my fiancé, Josh, at the farmer’s market. We are currently planning our wedding, so I truly understand the bridal perspective-I’m living it! I love to read and I’m always down to watch a good movie or tv show.

I’m Olivia
I’ve been working with Brittany since 2020. I’ve loved everything about the art of photography. I’m not as into editing so I’m thankful Brittany takes care of it!
When I’m not taking photos of weddings or families, I’m either at our family farm with my kids or we’ve flown to another country. The three of us have been to Thailand, Guatemala and South Africa. I’m always planning our next trip and right now I’m looking at somewhere in Europe!
