Painted Canyon in Medora, North Dakota is the best place in state for a destination engagement session.

Cort and Brooke are getting married next July at the Lakehouse in Bottineau, ND- near the US, Canada boarder. Since they are having a destination wedding, they chose to also have a destination engagement session in Medora, ND. I’m all game for this idea! Medora is beautiful and it’s actually a shorter drive for me to go to Medora than Bismarck.

We met up two hours before sunset to hike the Painted Canyon Loop and stop periodically for photos. Every time I visit this area, I am at awe of it’s beauty. This loop offers a wide array of backgrounds from wide views to trees to crumbling badlands.

While hiking, Brooke and Cort shared their love story. The duo worked together and it didn’t take long for sparks to fly.

I’m excited for the big day!! I have never been to Bottineau before, so I’m stoked to be introduced to a new area. Thank you, Cort and Brooke for giving me the opportunity to serve you on your special day!!
