Destiny Reimnitz: Southeastern University Grad

I’m writing this blog post to celebrate Destiny’s college graduation. Many of you know Destiny, but for those of you that do not, here is a little bit about her.

She’s my younger sister by 22 months. Our close age is about as close as our relationship. With little exception, we’ve been best friends our entire lives, always glued at the hip.

Five years ago Destiny moved to Florida to finish her high school education and begin her college education in accounting. She would live in Florida during the school year, and return to South Dakota for the Summer/Holidays for work and family.Destiny works with Mid Dakota Properties, the family rental business located in Mitchell, SD. She has been working there full time since graduating from SEU at the end of April. Her responsibilities include social media management, property showing, AirBnB hosting, and beyond.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Destiny is also a stellar wedding photographer. Working with Complete Weddings and Events Sioux Falls, Fargo, Orlando and Tampa, Florida -although now that she has moved back to South Dakota, she won’t be working in Florida anymore.

I’m excited to officially announce that Destiny is a member of the Brittanyography photo team- she is photographing her first two events with Brittanyography this July. (Thanks Destiny! I’m excited to have that weekend off!) For clients looking for a photo team for their big day, what’s better than two sisters who have that sibling telepathic abilities?!

But enough about what she has done outside of college, let’s talk about what she has done in the house of learning!

Destiny graduated with Highest Honors which basically means that she had impeccably good grades. Her peers quickly learned that Destiny studied hard to understand everything in her classes. She consistently ranked highest in the class on test scores, earned good grades and made studying fun and interesting.

Her first two years she was constantly putting together study groups and homework sessions. By her junior year, her professors had talked her into tutoring at the college with the Academic Center for Enrichment or ACE. In her 18 months with the program, Destiny became a Level III Certified Tutor with the College Reading and Learning Association.

She is the first of the Boyd & Kay Reimnitz children to attend and graduate from a four year university.

I’m extremely proud of my (not so little anymore) sister.

Destiny, I’m your big sister and your biggest fan. I’ll be here every step of the way, cheering you on. I love you very much!
