I’ve been wanting to get into making videos professionally. Thus for the past year, I’ve been recording all sorts of things in my spare time. If I was doing something that I could easily record, I was. To learn how to create amazing videos for my clients, I am going to start creating videos for myself. This first video series is a makeup palette eye swatch, review and demo.

I went through a few editing programs- starting with Windows Movie Maker, which would always crash my computer, and to Adobe Spark, that wasn’t what I was looking for, and the off to Movie Mator which is a shameful excuse for a modern computer program. The program that I have mostly enjoyed, and am currently using, is the DaVinci Resolve 16 by Black Magic. It is a free video editing program with loads of how-to and training videos available online.

I spent hours filming and editing this video. I’m happy with the overall piece, but I know there is room for improvement. Want to follow along? Subscribe here!
