Ciara and Jason's Romantic Engagement Session
Ciara and Jason have decieded to be lifers!! The countdown begins for August twenty-second of next year.
We took pictures all over Bismarck. Starting at the Tom O'Leary golf course (where Jason proposed to Ciara) to the river bank, a field, and downtown Bismarck. It’s one of my favorite things to do for any type of photo session: shoot at a location with history for the client. For Ciara and Jason, that meant the Golf course where they spend a lot of time together and their engagement location. (Rumor has it that Ciara is pretty good!)
While snapping photos on the river, I convinced the couple to wade ankle deep into the water. The water was freezing. They lasted maybe a minute and half, just enough to freeze off Jason’s toes and spin Ciara round.
I’m a big fan of props in photos. I love it when clients bring personalized details or signs. Some of my favorites have been save the date props, and Ciara didn’t disappoint. She made the cutest save the date with golf balls. We lined them up in a row- my detailed side was itching for a ruler.
Oh! Of course, I can’t forget the signs Ciara DIYed! She has just gifted the Cricket Maker machine and has been having a blast creating all sorts of signs and decor. I expect to see a few at the wedding!
A brief walk up and down Main Street and our engagement session came to a close. If I remember correctly, the wedding reception will be held at Sixteen 03 Events. Which I could not be more excited about after shooting there this weekend for Kristen and Shawn’s big day!
Ciara, Jason and I linked up through Complete Weddings and Events of Fargo. Complete is your one-stop-shop for photo, video, DJ, photo booth and uplighting services.
