Josh and Tiffaney were a ball to photograph. They’re such an easy going and fun couple that our time flew by. I love how much they joked and laughed with each other. I can just tell that they love spending time together.

The duo wanted an outdoor engagement session without buildings. So we met up at the Abraham Lincoln State Park, which is just south of Bismarck and Mandan. The park has lots of open spaces, well manicured trees and this awesome little fire place on the north side of the park.

Before the session began, I hiked up to this spot to move snow out of the way and drop off cedar wood. Our plan was to wrap up the session with a winter fire. After we got the flames dancing, Josh and Tiffaney snuggled up in their blankets and toasted with a glass of wine. Tiffaney opted for unique shaped wine glasses- did you know the shape of a wine glass can alter the taste of the wine? Pretty interesting!!

Who can have a fire without smores? Not me!! After taking photos, I even roasted the perfect smore for myself!
