Ten Years In The Making- Jenna and Edwin

Edwin Mendoza and Jenna Cariddi started dating in high school at Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Jenna noticed Edwin during her Sophomore year gym class. (Edwin was a junior at that time!) They begun dating August 1, 2009 and exactly ten years later said “I Do.”

Edwin and Jenna’s friends and family gathered around at the Canton Barn to help the couple celebrate. The barn was the prefect wedding venue since everything was all in the same place. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed tasty Mexican food and cocktails. The rice drink was super yummy!

Shortly after the wedding party was announced and dinner was served. The couple’s parents and best friends each proposed a touching toast to the couple. Jenna’s mom had a touching story of Edwin asking her if he could date her daughter. Edwin had gotten her favorite meal at iHOP, and then wrote on the to go box lid “may I date your daughter (or something along those lines!)” She still has it!

When Edwin and Jenna took to the dance floor for their first dance, the whole room collectively health their breath. Their first dance was straight out of a fairy tail. Edwin spun Jenna to the corner of the dance floor where her father was waiting. They danced to music from the Disney classic: The Lion King. Edwin and his mother danced an impressive partner dance full of turns, quick feet, and graceful moves. Who knew Edwin was so smooth on the dance floor?!

DJ Ian of Complete Weddings and Events kept the dance floor full the whole night!!
