A Cute Little Church and an Exciting Big Lakeside Celebration

Love is in the air!

Katie Jergenson and Preston Moser got married on May 25, 2019 in Cyrus, MN at Trinity Lutheran Church. The little church was packed full of friends and family-standing room only for the late comers! The quaint church was lead by pastor Chris Richards. Pastor Christ lead the wedding ceremony in conjunction with Preston’s pastor from Apostolic Christian Church of Morris MN.

After the ceremony, everyone moved a few miles down the road to the Lakeside Ballroom. OMG was this place beautiful. Look at these details! (Not to mention the dock that we used for sunset photos!!)

This could be just a rumor, but I was told that a family friend of the couple own a wedding decorating business. Apparently their wedding gift to the couple was the decorations at their reception.

Chance Stribling of Complete Weddings and Events Fargo DJ’d the night. He kept the party going with appropriate music for the crowd.

A side note about the owner of the Lakeside Ballroom, Jill. She was absolutely the sweetest, most fun venue owner I have met in recent past. She drove the wedding party around in a party bus for a short while. We drove past three blooming crab apple trees. I told her I wanted to stop there on the way back and she made it happen. At the end of the evening she sent me home in a Lakeside ballroom sweatshirt and an order of cheese curds. What an absolute sweetheart.
