Cord & Sarah’s “Prom 2020” | Lemmon, South Dakota

Sarah & Cord didn’t get their traditional prom, but who cares about tradition when you can spend the evening touring the John Lopez Sculpture Garden, sharing double trouble chocolate ice cream, stealing kisses in the grass or swinging on the Schnell’s cable bridge?

Not me.

John’s sculpture garden is beautiful. I feel incredibly blessed to have watched the area transform and so happy to have access to such an iconic photo location! I believe Sarah and Cord are the first of many to take prom photos with the cherry blossom tree.

We stopped at the R Coffee Shop for Double Trouble Chocolate Ice Cream waffle cones! This is when I found out that Sarah is a pro messy eater. I actually think there's something so charming about chocolate all over her face! Sarah, you are adorable! We had a few stops on the way out to the Schnell Ranch: Pine trees & grain bins. Cedar River runs through our ranch. The entire river bed is dotted with the trees. Here we stopped next to one. Our final destination was this cable bridge that Carson & Carter built. We use it in the spring when the river floods. (Preventing us from using our river culvert crossing) Clover was just starting to bloom, so the duo took a short walk through a patch next to the river.

The Dakotas are so beautiful!
