"You Haven't Had Good Coffee Yet"

That’s what Hannah Wollman told me as I was leaving her families roaster.

You see, I just got done telling Hannah, “Don’t tell your parents, but I don’t even like coffee unless it is full of cream and sugar. I don’t drink it often for that reason, opting for teas instead of heavy, creamy coffees.

She smiled at me and was like “Oh I don’t blame you, most coffee is awful, you just haven’t had good coffee yet!”

Take a look at her families coffee roasting operation.

The reason the Wollmans invited me to their Roaster is to debut their new coffee bag packaging. The packaging looks sleek, local and professional. I asked Mr. Wollman to tell me about his roasting process, how he got into it, and how it became a business endeavor. He smiled and told me his tale:

Brandon had been looking for a hobby. Something that could perhaps benefit him financially. He began roasting a few beans for himself, then the farmers market, and eventually all the grocery stores he serves today.

When speaking about his craft, Wollman explained he was trained in the art of roasting coffee beans.

It’s clear to me that Mr. Wollman knows what he is doing when it comes to coffee. On my way out he made me a caramel latte. It was easily the best caramel latte I have ever enjoyed.
