Spring usually means flowers and sunshine, but for Bo & Kylee’s big day, Mother Nature had other plans. A surprise snowstorm turned their wedding at Sixteen03 Events into something out of a winter fairytale. Despite the cold, the warmth from everyone’s hearts kept the day absolutely magical.
The Details
The day kicked off with Kylee’s dress stealing the show, hanging perfectly in a window, setting the vibe for the detailed shots to follow. Flowers, the bling, and that gorgeous dress detail? Check. The guys and gals getting ready shots were equally full of laughs and anticipation.
First Touch to First Look
Bo & Kylee’s first touch was all kinds of sweet and suspenseful, leading into a super emotional first look. Seriously, the way these two looked at each other could melt the coldest of snowbanks.
Inside Fun
Thanks to the snow, we kept the portraits indoors, which turned out pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. The whole squad and family got in on the action, proving you don’t need to be outside to capture the love and fun of a wedding day.
Ceremony & Party Time
The ceremony was intimate and beautiful, with every detail from the venue shining through. And the reception? It was a blast, complete with a candy bar full of blue treats (yum!) and a touching ‘in loving memory’ table. The kids had their own corner, which was basically party central, and let’s not forget the cake – it was as beautiful as it was delicious.
Wrapping Up with Snow
Ending the night, we braved the cold for some epic shots in the snow. Using a snowbank as a backdrop, we commemorated the day’s unexpected weather in style.
