THE LITTLE THINGS
OK, sometimes we all need a reminder for the things that seam easy to remember. You might be thinking, how could I forget my veil, my dancing shoes, my tie or family heirloom watch?” Well, I’m here to tell you that accidentally leaving something behind can happen to anyone, so I’m here to help prevent it on your wedding day.
Funny story… I photographed a wedding once about a forty-five minute drive away from the city. About fifteen minutes before the ceremony, the bride realized that she did not have her veil. It was extremely important to her because she wanted her and her husband to have a moment together when he unveiled her at the alter. To make the day perfect, one of her personal attendants booked it to the city to retrieve it. Yes, that wedding started nearly and hour and a half later than it was supposed to.
I’m sharing this with you because I think it’s important to gather your wedding day details at least one day before your wedding, not right before walking out the door. This will guarantee that you both have everything you need in one place.
If you are gathering your details and notice something is missing, now you have an entire day to track it down, not mere moments before your wedding.
