Maggie & Aaron Visit the Schnell Ranch
Who do you think of when I say, family friends? I think of the librarian that watched me and my sisters when my parents were away- or our chiropractor, his wife and their three kids whom I played with all the time growing up.
Well, Carson and I have a family friend in Maggie and Aaron. It all started three years ago on Feb 15th. Carson and I were getting dinner in Bismarck on a Valentine’s Day Late Date. Maggie was our server. Carson knew right away that Maggie would be a good friend for me, and he’s right :D We’ve been building those family friend type of memories- and even though we currently live cross country (I think we always will, I don’t know if Maggie is a big fan of the cold) we will always be the best of friends.
Carson and I visited the duo in November to go to EDC Orlando. Over Christmas, Maggie and Aaron visited from Florida during their trip back to North Dakota. This is Maggie’s second visit to the ranch- I think the next time needs to be while the snow is melted!
We toured our home, the shop, and the ranch. We fed Dutch (the horse) oats, chopped ice, watched Carson roll out a bale (Aaron cut and pulled the twine) and made homemade bread.
I’m looking forward to the next time I get to see the dynamic duo- which is this upcoming April! I’ll be traveling to Orlando to celebrate Destiny’s college graduation, but you know I will stop to see Maggie and Aaron!
Here are a few of the images I took during the Orlando trip.
